Club de amigos

Our “Club de Amigos” is a recreational activity for adolescents with intellectual disabilities aged 12 to 17 to meet new people and have fun.

How does it work?

On Saturdays twice a month, the children and a therapist participate in various activities such as going for a walk in the park, having breakfast together, going to the cinema or museums, and so on.

The responsibility of the therapist is to help them gain independence by accompanying them on public transportation, demonstrating the ticketing process, and so on.

In addition, the therapist fosters relationships among group members and promotes optimal group cohesion
